Games on our phones, tablets and computers may be the primary form of entertainment today—but that doesn’t make the physical version any less enjoyable! Pull out an old favorite from your hall closet that will bring everyone together for fun, laughs and stress relief. You can even enjoy an entire family game night complete with snacks and a chance for everyone to pick their favorite game.
Spend time around the fire
If you have a fire pit outside, now is the perfect time to use it! On quiet nights at home, a warm fire (and perhaps s’mores for roasting) can get everyone together to talk and enjoy each other’s company.
Do a project together
By dedicating time to a project—not one for school! —you and your family will be able to work together toward a common, rewarding goal. Whether it’s building a birdhouse, planting a family garden or fixing up an old car, these activities are best enjoyed with company.

Man’s best friend is famous for being happy, playful and comforting just when we need it most—and fortunately for Fido, he loves the attention! Get the family together for catch or simple around-the-house with your family pet.
Host a family karaoke night
You may not love the idea of singing in front of strangers, but family is family! Host a family karaoke night from home and get ready to laugh as you and your loved ones belt out your favorite songs.
Enjoy family breakfast
We know that eating together is important for families, but the stress of work and school can often prevent that from happening—especially during busy times like breakfast. Carve out time to enjoy a family breakfast together; you can even make it extra special by dining “al fresco” by your pool or garden.
